Rolling Stone called it: “Believe the hype! This show lives up to it!” Kiss The Sky: A Jimi Hendrix Tribute has earned that verdict by doing something no other Hendrix tribute does. The full cast covers every band configuration across Jimi’s career, from the Experience to the Band of Gypsys, each performer a look-alike and sound-alike for their specific role. The costumes are custom-built replicas of what Hendrix and his bandmates actually wore at their most documented concerts. The gear on stage, Marshall wall stacks, Ludwig drums, Fender Stratocasters, period-correct effects, matches what Jimi himself used in the studio and in the field.
  The act can faithfully recreate four of Hendrix’s most historic sets: Monterey Pop 1967, the Fillmore 1970, Woodstock 1969, and the Isle of Wight 1970. Front man Jimy Bleu is left-handed, one of the few in the business, and plays with the physical vocabulary Hendrix made famous: the guitar over his head, behind his back, and with his teeth. The set list runs through Fire, Hey Joe, Foxy Lady, Voodoo Child, Purple Haze, Machine Gun, Little Wing and All Along the Watchtower.
