ABOUT UNFORGETTABLE — CAESAR SINGS NAT "KING" COLE
CAESAR’s rich, velvety baritone voice has been captivating audiences across the globe with every note. His connection to Nat “King” Cole is both profound and historic. CAESAR became the first male vocalist ever to record a Nat "King" Cole tribute album at Capitol Studios’ legendary Studio A, engineered by 23-time Grammy winner Al Schmitt—just one week after Schmitt completed Paul McCartney’s Kisses on the Bottom. In that session, CAESAR sang through the very same microphone and was accompanied by the same Steinway piano that Cole favored in the 1950s. It was a tribute crafted in the heart of history: the Capitol Records Tower, affectionately known as “The House That Nat Built,” a landmark funded largely by Cole’s monumental record sales.
Today, CAESAR brings that legacy to life onstage in his acclaimed show, UNFORGETTABLE—CAESAR SINGS NAT "KING" COLE—a performance for today's audience that honors the elegance, warmth, and timeless charm of one of America’s greatest vocalists. The show delights audiences, whether fans of the classics or new listeners, as it blends the smooth charm of Cole’s greatest hits with CAESAR’s contemporary vocal brilliance.
Critics and audiences agree: when Caesar performs Cole’s classics, something extraordinary happens. CBS News Radio declared, “That’s Caesar whose singing brings back Nat King Cole,” while the Screen Actors Guild praised his artistry: “Caesar’s smooth velvet voice has often been compared to Nat King Cole’s, but he has his interpretation and style that compares to no one but is essentially and superbly… Caesar.” His tribute is not an imitation—it is a soulful continuation of a musical legacy.
CAESAR has headlined at the Kennedy Center with a 60-piece orchestra and his versatility spans languages and musical formats. UNFORGETTABLE—CAESAR SINGS NAT "KING" COLE may be produced in a variety of configurations, from intimate guitar or piano duets, jazz trios and quartets, to swinging big bands, and full pops symphonies.
