Cohen’s baritone and much-loved bluesy “vibe” are brought to life by Shea with an outstanding 10-piece band of musicians and vocalists. You will hear the Cohen songs that helped define his soulful persona throughout the decades, from his familiar early hits to his powerful later works.
The Essence of Cohen is a stirring tribute to a Canadian legend of words and music, with arrangements of the songs based on his incredible touring band of 2008. The band has been touring throughout Quebec, Ontario and Vermont since 2023, at concert venues such as The Casino de Montréal, The Lac Leamy Casino and Le Capitole de Québec.
