ABOUT LOLO'S BOYFRIEND SHOW
Tormented by the remnants of many failed relationships, Lolo is tempted by the invitation from a British guy who could be her ticket to a happier life. He’s different. He takes showers. He hasn’t asked her for money. He didn’t bring a stripper on any of their dates. But his attempts to woo her end up triggering a traumatic trip through "boyfriend's past..."
Lolo’s Boyfriend Show is a quirky young woman’s crusade to find "true love," which unwittingly leads her to find her "true self." Irreverent, soul-baring and hilarious, the show captivates audiences with a carousel of characters (all performed by Lauren O'Brien), numerous costume changes on stage and an iconic set with projections.
Lolo’s Boyfriend Show won the Audience Choice Award at the 2024 NYC Fringe Festival, sold out Philipstown Depot Theatre and rocked Off-Broadway at Playhouse 46.
