ABOUT BROADWAY THE CALLA-WAY!

BROADWAY THE CALLA-WAY! brings together two of the American theater's most celebrated voices, Tony-nominated sisters ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY and LIZ CALLAWAY, for an evening of showstoppers drawn from the greatest musicals ever written. Backed by acclaimed musical director Alex Rybeck, the sisters trade solos, blend in soaring harmony, and weave in the warmth, humor, and family history that have made the show a favorite from New York to Los Angeles. Audiences hear beloved songs from West Side Story, Chicago, Funny Girl, Cats, Carousel, and Wicked, including a celebrated medley of Broadway duets and fresh arrangements of standards the sisters have loved their whole lives.

ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY is one of America's most gifted artists in pop and jazz and a leading champion of the Great American Songbook. A singer, pianist, composer, and lyricist, she earned a Tony nomination and a Theater World Award for her starring role in Broadway's Swing!, and she wrote and sang the theme to the hit television series The Nanny. A Platinum Award-winning songwriter, Ann has written songs featured on seven of Barbra Streisand's albums and is the only composer ever invited to set the lyrics of Cole Porter. She has shared the stage with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the Boston Pops, and more than forty of the world's top orchestras, and she is an inductee of the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame.

LIZ CALLAWAY is a Tony and Grammy nominee and an Emmy Award winner whose voice has reached audiences far beyond the stage. She made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, earned a Tony nomination for Baby, sang "Memory" as Grizabella in Cats for five years, and starred in the original casts of Miss Saigon and The Three Musketeers. To a generation of film fans she is the singing voice of Anastasia, performing the Academy Award-nominated "Journey to the Past," as well as Princess Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin sequels, Odette in The Swan Princess, and Kiara in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. More recently she can be heard as the Speaker of God on Amazon's Hazbin Hotel.

Performing together since their acclaimed revue Sibling Revelry, Ann and Liz have become widely regarded as one of the finest sister acts in the business, with critics like The New York Observer's Rex Reed praising the way their voices blend and soar. In BROADWAY THE CALLA-WAY!, that chemistry takes center stage: a celebration of Broadway, family, and the songs that shaped two extraordinary careers.
