Billy Joel’s Longtime Booking Agent to Be Inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame has announced the full speaker lineup for its Billy Joel Symposium, a two-day event planned for June 2026. Among the highlights is a Hall of Fame induction for Dennis Arfa, the booking agent who spent decades helping shape Joel’s career and put his music in front of audiences around the world.
It’s a fitting tribute. Behind every catalog that endures for generations, there’s a team of people who believed in the music before the rest of the world caught up. Arfa was one of those people for Billy Joel — a behind-the-scenes force who helped turn a remarkable talent into one of the most beloved careers in American music history.
That music has never stopped filling rooms. Kyle Martin’s Piano Man brings the Piano Man’s catalog to stages across the country, delivering the same songs that have meant so much to so many for more than fifty years. Every performance is a reminder of why this music holds up — and why audiences keep coming back to hear it live.
Congratulations to Dennis Arfa on a well-deserved honor, and to the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame for recognizing the full team behind an iconic legacy.
