ABOUT FILLS MONKEY
Sébastien Rambaud and Yann Coste first met in 2005 when they were performing a demo act for drumming gear at a music commercial fair. They got along well and started to think of doing something together. Their aim was to mix a high dose of technique with humour and fantasy.
A first draft of the show comes to life in 2010.
In Autumn 2011 they started a 3 months run of their Incredible Drum Show at Le Sentier des Halles in Paris. Word of mouth was amazing and the reviews were fantastic. The run was extended month after month until June 2013, a record of longevity at this venue. Six months later, they sold out at Trianon (Paris, capacity 1100).
In July 2012 they featured in the fringe festival Zoofest in Montreal, Canada. Within a week they became the revelation of the festival! In 2012-2013 they make their first appearances in Belgium (Brussels, Liege and Charleroi) and Switzerland including the prestigious Festival de Montreux.
They now receive calls from TV networks in China, Germany, Korea and Australia to perform 5 to 10 minutes of their highly visual act on TV shows.
